Personalized stencil - Tampon naissance style

A birth-themedstencil that lets you transfer this stamp-style motif onto your cakes and cupcakes for the birth of a baby, along with its first name, weight and measurements (optional) .

Designed and created by our designers, our stencils are unique and original. Most of them have even been paired with our embossing stamps so you can match the decoration of your pastries with the same motif.

Choose the dimensions of your stencil 9cm square, designed to be used on the top of a cake or the front of a 10cm-high cake.

In all cases, our stencils are designed to have approximately 3cm extra margins on the 2 sides. This is so you can use them to fix the stencil to your cake, often with a pin, when coloring. The margins can also be trimmed with scissors if you need to use them in a corner or hard-to-reach position.

Washable and reusable at will, our stencils are made of flexible, food-contact plastic (0.6mm semi-transparent mylar).

The stencils can be used with the following food colorings on your pastries:

• royal icing or buttercream, white or colored, for a relief effect,
• our powdered food colorings, which can be matte, metallic, satin, fluorescent, gold or even glittery
• simply white powdered sugar, on the tops of cookies or cupcakes for example,
• our gas-free spray and push-on food colorants
• our airbrush colorants, matte or metallic, with your airbrush compressor to create the gradient color of your choice.

TIPS for use with Royal icing or buttercream:

1. Mix your icing (royal icing, buttercream etc). Align the stencil with the sides of the cake (and trim the excess edge if necessary) to align or center on its top.
2. Holding the stencil in place is the trickiest part. You have several options:

• an extra pair of hands to hold it for you ;-)
• use dressmaker's pins to hold it in place. The stencil should be flush with the surface of the cake so that the icing doesn't penetrate below the stencil.

Start by spreading your icing from the center outwards with a spatula. Remove the stencil slowly. If you have "stained" sections, use a toothpick to gently scrape off the excess. Leave to dry, then continue around the cake.
