Description

The part that wears out the most with time is the print head because it is through it that the ink of each cartridge passes to be then projected, via its nozzles, on your sheet

Thus, if you found on your prints lack of red, blue, yellow or black, it is that one of the nozzles of your printer is blocked. You can confirm this doubt by carrying out the maintenance operation called "Verification of the nozzles". And if you see on the report that one of the 4 colors is not printed, it is because the corresponding nozzle is blocked.

The native maintenance function of your printer called "Nozzle cleaning" has precisely for role to clean and unblock the nozzles of the ink which would have started to dry inside the print head.

It is never useful enough to remind you that this maintenance operation "Cleaning the nozzles" must be carried out regularly. From 1 to 3 times a month depending on the intensity of your use.

However, if you have not performed this operation in time or if you have left your printer without use for more than a month, it is unfortunately normal that the "nozzle cleaning" function (even the so-called "deep cleaning" function) does not succeed in unclogging the nozzles of your print head.

If this is the case, the only way to get out of the impasse, apart from buying a new printer, is to change the print head. This operation is extremely simple and diabolically efficient.

Here is a video showing how to change the print head of your V2 printer:
