The ink used (all colours are concerned) and the sugar sheets are on the one hand FDA-approved (USA Food and Drug administration) and on the other hand certified kosher (so also hallal). See downloadable attachment

Simply cut it into the desired shape (round, square, heart, details etc...) and glue it on your cake using food glue or Crisco.

A- CHARACTERISTICS of the SUGAR Leaf :

1. Our sugar sheet is made of a very thin layer of icing on a plastic support that will allow you to handle it without difficulty. The prints obtained give images with faithful and luminous colours.
2. Frosting Sheets can be stored at room temperature for up to 6 months without any problem
3. Ingredients: Corn starch, glucose syrup, cellulose, titanium dioxide, canola oil, potassium sorbate, sodium bicarbonate, sugar, water, polyglicerol, glucose alginate powder, fructose, sugar, gum arabic, invert sugar, citric acid. Guaranteed GMO-free. Certified Kosher.
4. ADVICE FOR USE AND INSTALLATION:
• To separate the sugar sheet from its plastic support, let it dry for 5 to 15 minutes depending on the ambient humidity level. For more speed, you can use a hair dryer.
• By pinching one of the corners, the sugar sheet should come off the plastic support, so you can remove it and stick it on your cake.
• If you wish to make cuts from your printed sugar sheet, we strongly advise you to first peel it off the plastic support and then cut it as you wish.
• Avoid placing the sugar sheets on creams containing water or on toppings, otherwise moisture will rise
• To glue your print on your sugar dough cake, you can use food glue or CRISCO which will allow you to easily re-orient the sheet on your cake without the risk of tearing the print

B- CHARACTERISTICS of the AZYME Leaf :

1. Our unleaded sheet is of "Extra Premium" quality because it is 0.7mm thick. The ingredients of manufacture are : Potato starch, water, vegetable oil only (so Hallal and Kosher).
   
2. As the unleached sheets are a kind of blotter absorbing ink, it is normal that the printing of your photo on unleached sheet has less contrast than the original. If the brightness of the colors is very important to you, then prefer the printing of the sugar sheet
3. Wafer Paper can be stored at room temperature for up to 1 year without any problems.
4. USE AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
• A print on unleaf paper should only be applied on dry surfaces such as sugar dough, marzipan or even on your sponge cake. This is to prevent the unleaf from absorbing moisture and deforming.
• From there on, it is very easy to stick your unleavened impression on your cake. Use a few dots of food glue, royal icing or even Piping Gel.
• To perfect your decoration, don't hesitate to make a small cream or whipped cream border all around your record with the piping bag and the socket of your choice, it will finish your work.
