Thanks to this special tool for designing sugar flowers (gumpaste or flower paste), the iron flower wires can also be used to hang small sugar paste elements (stars, balloons...) and pricked into your design cake. Gather the threads with colour-matched floral ribbon and insert them into a flower cone (or possibly a straw) pricked into the cake. The threads should never be introduced directly into the cake. They will also be perfect for the internal structure of your modeling clay figurines.

Attention: the higher the gauge number (= thickness), the thinner the florist's thread is :)!

Tip: To hang heavy sugar dough elements (stars, hearts... which will then be pricked into the cake), we advise you to choose the flower stems of gauges 18, 20 and 22. Prepare these decorations in advance so that the sugar dough dries and doesn't slip on the stem! For flower petals and leaves made of gumpaste, choose thinner wire: gauge 24, 26 and 28, 30 )!
