Satin Ice sugar dough is easy to use and can be spread very thinly, making the possibilities endless. Use it not only to cover and decorate cakes, but also to decorate cupcakes and cookies, to shape figurines, to make knots, drapes, swags and more. It is also possible to colour the sugar dough according to your wishes with food colouring

Kneading is the most important step to work the sugar dough. The more you knead it, the more elastic and flexible it becomes. For best results, knead a small portion until it is soft and pliable, then combine the small portions. After kneading, you can roll out the sugar dough to a thickness of 3 mm, the ideal thickness to cover a cake. For a 7.5 cm high cake with a diameter of 25 cm, you need approx. 680 grams of sugar dough
