Satin Ice Sugar Paste is easy to use and can be rolled out very thinly, making the possibilities endless. Don't just use this product for covering and decorating cakes, but also for decorating cupcakes and cookies, modeling figurines, making bows, drapes, swags and more. It is also possible to color the sugar dough according to your desires with food coloring

Kneading is the most important step in working with sugar dough. The more you knead it, the more elastic and flexible it becomes. For best results, knead a small portion until it is soft and pliable, then combine the small portions. After kneading, you can roll out the sugar dough to a thickness of 3 mm, the ideal thickness for covering a cake. For a 7.5 cm high cake with a diameter of 25 cm, you need about 680 grams of sugar paste

Tips:

  • If your dough is sticky, sprinkle a little cornstarch or powdered sugar on your work surface.
  • If your dough is too dry or crumbly take a dab of Crisco and knead until your dough is fairly soft.
