FunCakes bovine gelatin powder of excellent quality
Gelatin powder is used in pastries to bind and thicken creams, mousses, bavarians, custards and fruit jams. Take a look at our beautiful 3D dessert moulds from Silikomart :)!
In cake design, it can be used to make gelatin bubbles (see video).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE20g of gelatin powder per 1 litre of liquid is used to obtain a correct thickening and 40 grams for a firm flan.
Preparation Pour the necessary amount of powdered gelatin into the liquid. Heat the mixture to 40ºC while mixing to dissolve the gelatin. Attention! The preparation must not boil! Let cool and set the mixture in the refrigerator.
Be careful: Gelatin cannot be used with the following fresh fruits: pineapple, kiwi, papaya, mango and ginger.
