Sodium bicarbonate FunCakes 100g

Sodium bicarbonate, also known as "sodium bicarbonate", is used as a baking powder for cakes, breads, brioches or cakes. During cooking, the bicarbonate reacts with the other acid components. The carbon dioxide released during this process aerates the product to be cooked. The acidic ingredients causing this reaction are tartaric acid, lemon juice, yoghurt, cocoa, beaten milk, and honey.

Sodium bicarbonate can replace baking powder, provided that the recipe contains enough acid ingredients.
