Black almond paste - 250g

FunCakes' delicious spreadable almond paste is very soft and flexible. Thanks to its flexibility, marzipan is easy to handle and perfect for rolling. With a beautiful fine texture, this marzipan remains firm once spread.

If you want a less pronounced final colour, simply mix the coloured marzipan with white marzipan. You can also mix two different coloured almond pastes.

To completely coat a round cake 24 / 26 cm in diameter or a square cake 20 cm wide, you need about 500 g of marzipan. The marzipan must be kneaded properly before spreading it on a thin layer of powdered sugar.
