Description

We print your image with edible ink on an edible sheet of unleavened sugar or :

  • either in A4 format: 21x29cm MAX
  • or in A3 format: 29x42cm MAX

Production and dispatch within 24 hours

  • SUGAR LEAF SUPPORT: Simply cut out the desired shape (round, square, heart-shaped, detailed, etc.) and stick on your cake using food-safe glue or Crisco. Our sugar foil is made from a very thin layer of icing on a plastic base, making it easy to handle. The resultant prints are true-to-life, vibrant and luminous images.
  • AZYME SHEET SUPPORT: Simply cut into the desired shape (round, square, heart-shaped, detailed, etc.) and stick onto your cake. Our Azyme sheet is "Extra Premium" quality, as it is 0.7mm thick. PLEASE NOTE: On this substrate, please note that small blisters may appear in very dark print areas. This is due to the fact that a lot of ink has been used and the unleavened film has not been able to absorb it all. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW :

  1. Sugar sheets should not be stored in the fridge as, among other things, they may shatter like glass if handled cold, or simply melt.
  2. For optimum rendering on an A4 print, please provide us with your image in PNG, GIF or JPG format at 200 dpi (pixel per inch) quality.
  3. For best results, please use a bright, not too dark photo (beware of backlighting and blurred photos)
  4. If you wish to print several images (different or not) on the same sheet of sugar, please provide us with your graphic file already arranged according to your wishes, so that we can print it directly.
  5. Please note that if your file has white bands around it, these will be taken into account in the dimensions. Please remove them when you send us your file if you don't want them to appear and shrink your image.
  6. The ink used (all colors are concerned) and the sugar sheets are both approved and certified kosher (so also hallal). See downloadable attachment
  7. Frosting Sheets can be stored at room temperature for up to 6 months
  8. Please note that if the format of your image does not allow us to produce the dimensions you request, we will do our best to match your dimensions so that the image is not blurred or distorted. In all cases, the original proportions of your image will be preserved.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND INSTALLATION :

For the sugar sheet: To separate the sugar sheet from its plastic backing, allow it to dry for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on ambient humidity. For faster drying, use a hair dryer.

By pinching one of the corners, the sugar sheet should release from the plastic backing, allowing you to remove it and stick it on your cake.

If you wish to cut your printed sugar sheet, we strongly recommend that you first peel it from its backing, then cut it as desired.

Avoid placing sugar sheets on creams containing water, or on toppings, as this may cause moisture to rise and the product to melt.

Do not refrigerate.

To stick your print onto your sugar-paste cake, you can use food-safe glue or CRISCO, which will enable you to easily re-orient the sheet on your cake without the risk of tearing the print

The sheets we currently offer are E171-free, thicker and whiter than the old ones :)

As for unleavened baking paper, it should only be used on dry surfaces such as sugar dough, marzipan or even sponge cake. This is to prevent the unleavened baking paper from absorbing moisture and deforming. From there, gluing your unleavened printing to your cake couldn't be simpler. Use a few dots of food-safe glue, royal icing or even Piping Gel.

Sugar dough (sugar 89% and glucose syrup 11%), sorbitol (E420), water, palm oil (partially hydrogenated), stabilizer (E415), preservative (E202), stabilizers (E410 and E413), emulsifier (E464). Guaranteed GMO-free. Certified Kosher.

Ingredients FEUILLE AZYME: Ingredients used in production are : Potato starch, water, vegetable oil only (therefore Halal and Kosher).
