1. Mix your glazing (royal ice cream, butter cream, decorative glazing, etc.). Align the stencil on the sides of the cake (and cut off excess edge if necessary) for alignment or center on its top.
2. Holding the stencil in place is the most delicate part. You have several options: a) an extra pair of hands to hold it for you; b) use dressmaker pins to hold it in place. The stencil must be flush with the surface of the cake so that the glaze does not penetrate below the stencil. 3. Start by spreading your glazing from the center to the outside with a spatula. 4. Slowly remove the stencil. If you have "stained" sections, use a toothpick to gently scrape off excess. Let it dry and then continue around the cake.Dimensions: pattern about 7.5cm in diameter.
