Use a silicone veiner to give your leaves more realism and let them dry in a flower stand. Once the leaves have hardened, complete the finish by lightly colouring them with dry-applied powder dyes.

If your leaves are glued on floral threads, tie them together with the florist's strip.

Then place your sugar flowers and leaves on your sugar dough decorated cakes, pastries or wedding cakes by sticking them with royal icing, or if the flowers contain wires, choose plastic picks specially designed for sugar flowers.
