Description

These square acrylic (plexiglass) ganache trays, in 5 sizes, sold by 2 will quickly become your indispensable tools for smoothing your square cakes and obtaining perfectly straight angles! To be used with your ganache, butter cream... They can be used over and over again and are therefore very economical.

AN IDEAL SIZE TO SAVE YOU TIME:

Our square acrylic trayshave been specially sized to be used on cakes made with the standard square moulds. You will be able to add about 5mm of ganache around the cake, which is 1cm more in diameter.... AND no need to re-cut your cake after baking ;-)

Here are the diameters of the discs available and their correspondence in mould diameters:

  • 16cm for a 15cm (6 Inch) cake
  • 21cm for a 20cm (8 Inches) cake
  • 26cm for a 25cm (10 Inches) cake
  • 31cm for a 30cm (12 inches) cake

You will also find on our website the same acrylic trays but for round cakes ! Here is a tutorial for these round discs... The technique to use is almost the same for square cakes.


We advise you to use the sugaria acrylic ganache smoother We advise you to use the special ganache tool, specially designed for these ganache trays (it does not scratch, unlike stainless steel smoothers and spatulas).

WASHING: We strongly advise you to wash the trays by hand, with hot water and soap, and not in the dishwasher: indeed, cleaning them in boiling water for a long time could deform them and make them dull.
