You can choose your stamp from 2 styles (see photo to get a visual idea of how it will look):

• style EMBOSSER : The pattern "protrudes" from the acrylic pad and will sink 4mm deep into your paste. The Embosser style allows you to print the pattern even when the dough is already on your cake or cookies.
• GAUFREUR style Embosser style : The pattern is hollowed out inside the acrylic stamp. So by applying consistent pressure from the stamp to your dough, your design will "stick out" (protrude from your dough) by about 2mm. Because of the pressure required, the Embosser style will force you to first stamp your dough and then cut it out and place it on your cakes.
