Description

Easily create succulent flowers and buds in sugar paste, modeling paste or flower paste with this silicone mold.

It makes a fabulous decoration for birthday cakes, wedding cakes or floral decorations.

This mold will save you a lot of time: no more modeling, in no time at all, your sugar paste decorations will be ready :) .

Extremely resistant to high and low temperatures -60°C / 230°C - you can use it with sugar paste, gumpaste, marzipan and chocolate, candy meltsisomalt...

Tips for using with sugar paste or gumpaste:

1- Sprinkle the mold with a little cornstarch and tap to remove excess.

2-Start with a ball of dough and begin to flatten it into the mold. Keep the fingers of both hands dusted with cornstarch so that the fondant stays in the mold and doesn't stick to your hands.

3- Press down with the fingers of your left hand, while continuing to pinch and smooth the batter in the mold with your fingers or right hand outwards.

4- Once the mold is full, you can use a rolling pin to roll over the shape and press the dough firmly into the mold. Dusting the rolling pin will ensure that the dough doesn't stick to it.

5- Take a clean, dry knife or scalpel and run the blade through the cornstarch. Place the blade flat on the surface of the mold and carefully cut away the excess dough, using a gentle sawing action. For large molds, it's sometimes a good idea to stop halfway through to clean and dry the blade again.

For very complex molds: It may be useful to place the mold in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn out onto a clean, dry surface. The dough will be wet and sticky while thawing, so don't touch it. Depending on the type of dough you've used and the humidity in the air, models should be dry to the touch within 10 to 30 minutes. Let them dry completely before transferring them to the cake (to be glued on with food-safe glue or royal icing).

6- Turn the mold upside down and unmold gently, using a fine point to release the dough.

Care: Can be washed in soapy water or in the dishwasher.
