Description

Perfect smoothing in no time is now possible thanks to the new Ganache kit from Brigids Cake room

This innovative kit will enable you to create impeccable finishes on your cakes, while remaining easy to use and within everyone's reach.

It includes :

  • A height guide liner, each liner measuring 7 inches high.
  • A reusable non-stick disc to line the bottom of your mold.
  • A clip to secure the liner overlap.
  • A soft bottle of ganache.
  • A food-grade foam spacer to ensure the right thickness of ganache.

This kit is compatible with dark, milk and white chocolate ganaches. For white and milk ganaches, we recommend placing them in the freezer for 4-5 hours to harden quickly and efficiently. In addition to ganaches, this kit can be used with butter ganache, buttercream, Swiss meringue buttercream, jelly/gelatine and cheesecakes.

Instructions for use:

  1. First of all, to use the 15 cm format, you need to use an 18 cm mold, and for the 20 cm format, a 23 cm mold, to make your icing.
  2. Once you've baked your cake in a 15 or 20 cm mould, depending on the size of the kit you've chosen, and left it to cool, you can cleanly cut your sponge cake using a knife, for example.
  3. Place the non-stick disk on the bottom of your mold, then roll up the foam spacer to the exact height of your mold (cut off any excess)
  4. Roll up the lining to the size of your mold, and place the clip to secure the overlap of the lining.
  5. Prepare your ganache, dividing it between the soft bottle provided and the bowl.
  6. Pour some of the ganache into the bottom of your mold, spreading it evenly, and begin to place your first layer of sponge cake on top.
  7. This time, use the flexible bottle to place your ganache on the sides of your sponge cakes and cover with your filling.
  8. Repeat the operation between each layer of your cake.
  9. Once you've finished your layers, place a disk on top to serve as a cake base.
  10. Place your cake in the fridge overnight.
  11. Take out your cake, remove the clip, as well as the mousse, the lining and the non-stick disk.
  12. The result is simply perfect!
